What’s in a name? DJ Seinfeld’s has been one of the most intriguing artists in recent times, not only within the ‘lo-fi’ scene he briefly, inadvertently helped define, but across the wider spectrum of electronic music. As well as releasing one of 2017’s most-celebrated debut albums, ‘Time Spent Away From U’, he’s proactively flexed his creative impulses, utilising a number of not-so-secret aliases to explore the margins of jungle, techno and ambient. This all-encompassing approach resulted in Seinfeld becoming one of the youngest ever artists to be invited to curate an entry into !K7’s legendary mix series, DJ- KiCKS, which boasts past editions from Actress, Nina Kraviz and Moodymann and is out right now.
Teneil Throssell arrived in London from Australia six years ago, when she was the lead singer of a psychedelic band called Dark Bells. She was an avid collector of Turkish funk, Nigerian and Kenyan beats, but was turned on to club music after a trip to Berlin’s famed Berghain club. In 2016 she became the Saturday night resident for Brixton’s Phonox and since then Throssell's rise through the ranks has been turbo. B2B slots with The Black Madonna, Lost Village, Glastonbury and Bestival, Boiler Room Tel Aviv, Resident Advisor Brilliant Corners London, Watergate Berlin, a regular Rinse FM slot and starting her own party series and label, Coconut Beats.
The fairly anonymous Berlin-based, London-born producer is developing a cult following on the Berlin underground scene with his self titled record label / releases and regular extended DJ sets at Berghain and across the far corners of Europe. Making his Australian debut for Output Festival, Amotik has a stacked summer schedule ahead playing Distillery, Razzmatazz, Romy S and more, following the release of AMOTIK 008 and his remix for Ellen Allien.
2017 was a breakout year for the Newcastle-born / London-based producer, DJ and Steel City Dance Discs label boss who in virtually no time at all is breaking all kinds of moulds on his rapid rise to recognition on the world stage. Through his releases (‘Feel U’, ‘Can’t’ and ‘I Just Wanna’), energy-filled DJ sets and connective power of the internet, Mall Grab embodies a good times vibe that people around the world are identifying with and it’s no surprise to find him performing everywhere from Lovebox, Bestival and Berghain to Piknic Electronik, Panorama NYC and DGTL between now and Output 2018. Don’t just take our word for it; the hype is more than real… Mixmag front cover, BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, RA Top 100 DJ, Boiler Room, this is NOT normal. Our man Jordon Alexander is literally lighting up dancefloors around the world and the appetite for his style of house music shows no signs of stopping in 2018.
